May law firm rankings, lists, awards and PR opportunities

May 14, 2024

It’s hard to believe Q2 is halfway over.

Well, kinda hard to believe. If your firm is anything like our clients, this year has been remarkably busy.

And even though legal marketers recognize the importance of legal rankings and awards in generating new business and strengthening relationships, time can sprint past us (right alongside our good intentions).

Below is our curated list of our favorite recognitions. If you only have time to submit for a few this season, we recommend:

  • Friendly heads up that the upcoming Chambers research schedule is live! We know that Chambers can be incredibly intimidating. Is it worth it? Check out our Chambers 101 blog post for a deep dive into the pros and cons of submitting.
  • American Bar Association’s Distinguished Achievement Award in Environmental Law and Policy — The ABA is accepting nominations for those who work in environmental law and policy until May 31.
  • Diversity Journal’s leadership awardsDiversity Journal has a few upcoming awards to celebrate talented, dynamic leaders. Women Worth Watching in Leadership, Veteran Leadership and Native American Indigenous Leadership awards are due May 31.

  • American Lawyer’s 2024 Industry Awards — I mentioned this award last month, but I wanted to flag it one more time because they have updated their due dates! Submissions for the various awards are due either June 12 or June 26.
