June AEC firm rankings, lists, awards and PR opportunities

June 13, 2024

The temperature isn’t the only thing rising these days.

Many of our architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) clients are experiencing busy seasons. Whether your team is working to attract talent, generate proposals or pursue new business opportunities, it can feel like proactive PR efforts are something you just don’t have time for.

We know someone who can help (gentle wink).

Below are a few proactive initiatives we keep our eyes on year over year. We know your inbox is filled with promises of fame and fortune by pay-to-play options, but these are the few we think are worth your valuable time this month:

  • NAIOP Developing Leaders Award: This award recognizes up-and-coming commercial real estate professionals aged 35 and under for their commitment and contributions to the industry. NAIOP members who would like to apply for this award have until June 28 to submit.

  • CURT Construction Industry Safety Excellence Award: Commending safety improvements and good management by owners and builders, this award recognizes firms that most effectively implement the recommendations of the CURT Owners Safety Blueprint. Applications cost $250 and are due July 28.

  • American Society of Civil Engineers’ (ASCE) Outstanding Project and Leaders Awards: The ASCE recognizes civil engineers who have demonstrated outstanding lifetime achievement, leadership and a long-term commitment to excellence. The awards are not restricted to members of the Society. The extended deadline to submit is August 7.

  • Construction Executive’s 2024 Contest: All photographers are welcome to participate in Construction Executive’s annual photo contest. They “are seeking your most captivating construction snapshots: dynamic, well-composed and visually appealing photographs that showcase the essence of your projects and teams.” Submissions are due September 6.
