April law firm rankings, lists, awards and PR opportunities
Happy Earth Month!
One of the best ways to recycle your firm’s greatest hits into various forms of content is to submit for legal awards. These submissions provide a great opportunity to mindfully curate all the reasons why your firm is the best.
While we keep an eye on legal awards all year long, below are a few of our favorites for this month:
- American Lawyer’s 2024 Industry Awards — I mentioned this award last month, but I wanted to flag it one more time! This award program is now open for all categories, from Corporate Counsel’s Best Use of Technology and Champion of Diversity awards to Attorney of the Year, Legal Services Innovation Award and everything in between. Submissions for the various awards are due either May 5 or May 22.
- Law360’s Regional Powerhouses — If your firm is located in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas or Washington, listen up! This submission is all about the numbers. How many of your attorneys work in the state? How many offices in the state do you have? Plus, the submission will need a detailed description of significant litigation wins. Submissions are due May 10.
- Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Bankruptcy Lawyers — Submissions to be included in Lawdragon’s bankruptcy guide are due May 17.
- Turnarounds & Workouts’ Bankruptcy Tax Specialists in the Nation’s Major Law Firms — Speaking of bankruptcy recognitions due on May 17, this list “identifies a small club of lawyers at large law firms whose practice is at the intersection of corporate restructuring and tax law.”
