But you know what is? Helping our clients find the award programs best suited for their expertise and goals.

If you aren’t sure which recognitions are worth your time, we’re happy to help! Below are a few of our favorites this month: 

Gather up all that Valentine’s Day candy, and let’s look at a few of our favorite opportunities to keep an eye on this month:

• Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Marketing Communications Awards —  These awards provide opportunities for marketers to showcase their AEC-focused marketing practices and innovations in a variety of categories. Entries are open to SMPS members and nonmembers. The final deadline for entries is March 22. 
  
• A few editorial calendar flags! These may seem very far off, but we usually like to alert clients of these opportunities months in advance to ensure there is enough time to pitch and draft:
  
  • Building Design + Construction’s July/August issue will feature data centers, hospitality, multifamily, office and retail, as well as paints, coatings and sealants. Materials are due June 30 to participate. 
    
  • BUILDINGS’ July/August issue will focus on working with IT teams, IoT integration, as well as cybersecurity. If you’re interested in showing off your firm’s expertise, July 5 is when you need to submit.
